I am just a simple girl really who enjoys life, all things creative, I style, I blog and soon be the worlds’ number one publicist lol. I am passionate about a lot of things from travel, food, fashion and books. I don’t like to be put into box where I just focus and love one thing.
Why did you become a blogger?
Whenever my friends were going out they would ask me what to wear/ how to do their hair. Then a friend of mine suggested I should start a blog as I am really good at styling and helping others. Also, people always ask me where I get my clothes from and how I put outfits together. My blog also showcases my professional styling portfolio from shoots that I have done.
Why did you choose to blog about lifestyle and which one of the topics you cover is your favourite and why?
I picked out topics that I would enjoy writing about. Lately I been enjoying sharing food recipes, and self-help tips
What sets you apart from other bloggers & how would you describe your style?
I always stay true to my personal style. My style is Simple / Modesty with a twist.I like mixing old and new styles.
What do you hope people will take away from reading your blog?
I hope people are inspired to break out of their comfort zone. I hope they learn the importance of dressing to express not impress.
What is your blogging routine like?
I don’t have a routine at the moment. However, I am aiming to post three times each week now that I have new content.
What advice would you give to someone new to blogging or considering it?
Be yourself, use your blog as a way to express yourself. Everything that you enjoy doing, reading, eating. Let your audience get to know you and connect better with you.
What opportunities have come your way because of blogging?
My personal styling clients have increased.
Do you follow any bloggers, if so who and why?
Yes, I follow so many bloggers, but my top two have to be:
@findingPaola www.findingpoala.com: because she authentic, funny and her post are so inspirational.
@simpleyetstylish www.simpleyetstylish.com: her blog name says it all simple and stylish dressing.
Would you say there are downsides to blogging, if so what are they?
Competition Is probably the biggest challenge, because there are so many bloggers out there and as it happens we all shop from the same shops. So, you have to figure out how you can be different and differentiate yourself from other bloggers, which why I try not to follow trends so much on my blog.
From your experience, what have been the best memories of being a blogger?
I have gained so many new friends via the blogging community. Also got featured on one of my favourite fashion platforms : fashionbombdaily.
